Counseling Services

MCC’s Counseling Center staff provide students with a professional and confidential setting for psychological, emotional, and developmental support of those who are pursuing academic goals, in addition to exploring personal growth and development.

A supportive and positive mental health environment is created for students through individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, consultation and referral, assessment, and outreach programming. These initiatives are responsive to the individual, cultural, and demographic diversity of MCC students.

Faculty and staff may also utilize the Counseling Center as a resource to assist with student interactions, which promotes a widespread campus approach to fostering personal, social, and academic learning and development.

MCC Campus Security

While academics is certainly a top priority at Monroe Community College, your personal safety is also something that is taken seriously.

Our trained peace officers and dispatchers are here to assist you, day or night. Please do not hesitate to call the Department of Public Safety, whether you need immediate emergency assistance or simply have a flat tire in the parking lot. We are always ready and able to help.
